The Koning Willem I College from Den Bosch was visiting us for a workshop “Drones & Surveying”. They were  students surveying graduating next year. It was a nice group led by teachers Brigitte Zaal, Ineke Struyk and René van der Meent. They have spent the morning in the Technique and Science Academy in Greenville, Houthalen. In the afternoon they were gathered in DronePort, Sint-Truiden.

The program:

– Presentation by Frank Broux (Eclectici) by a ppt (+ general knowledge questions)
– Simulator flight + drone flight
– Presentation by Yves Lantin (Landron) 3DR Iris + focus on thermal images, its data processing and specific cameras
– Presentation by Frank Broux (for GIRA): surveyor drone and applications
– Presentation by Peter Strigencz & Vincent Fisette (PSsurvey) practice cases surveying and drones + eBee
